Evan is a Virginia Native, graduate of Chantilly Culinary Academy, and full time BBA student. Evan and Ed are long time chef and business partners, as well as best friends. Evan has worked in some of the Washington DC areas finest kitchens, such as Roses Luxury, Rustico, Bistro Vivant, Ovvio Osteria, Quench, the US State Department, the International Culinary Center, and more. Evan is currently behind the popular award winning Northern Virginia Food Truck Bacon N' Ed's, along with co-creating the new web series "The Mobile Gourmets". Evans extensive knowledge of the restaurant industry and large amount of connections in the culinary community provide him with the tools necessary to build success. Along with the hospitality industry, Evan focuses time and energy on charity too, founding and leading a nonprofit organization to raise funds and awareness for Type 1 Diabetes, a type 1 diabetic for over 20 years himself.

Ed Hardy and Evan Henris share their expertise on stage at the International Culinary Center in New York City.
Recently named one of "The Top 10 DC Chefs To Watch In 2016" Ed is a Virginian and UVA graduate, was most recently the Executive Chef at McLean’s Bistro Vivant which, under his direction, was named to Northern Virginia Magazine's 50 Best Restaurants. Chef Ed largely honed his skills in New York, where much of his career was spent working with Top Chef Master Marcus Samuelsson. With Chef Samuelsson, Ed opened and helped lead the acclaimed restaurants Red Rooster (NY Times Two-Star rated) and American Table (at Lincoln Center). Chef Ed began his stint with Chef Samuelsson at Aquavit NYC (NY Times Three-Star rated), where he started on the line. He also spent time with the service-focused Union Square Hospitality Group, as Sous Chef at the Modern / MoMA Café and as a stagiere at the legacy restaurant Gramercy Tavern.
After moving to the DC area Ed was named Executive Chef of the critically acclaimed Bistro Vivant in McLean where he met and hired Evan as a Jr. Sous Chef, and later moved on to be Chef/Partner of Quench in Rockville Md., which won awards for Best New Restaurant and Best Beverage Program for the State of Maryland.
After crowdsourcing the name, he launched the Bacon N' Ed's food trailer at Reston in October 2014. Since then the truck has been named to many "Best of Lists" and received several awards.
Hardy also has significant PR and campaign experience, having authored many articles (see links) and worked as a consultant for a statewide attorney general campaign, A Gov. Schwarzenegger ballot referendum, and a Philadelphia Mayoral race as well as a Capitol Hill researcher and speechwriter.
